On January 29 and 30, 2009, the Réseau Romand Science et Cité hosted a conference in Neuchâtel with 150 experts in the field of science communication. Participants were researchers, museum specialists, journalists, as well as artists and students from Switzerland and abroad. The objective of this event was to identify the most imperative problems standing in the way of the democratisation of science and technology.
From the conference results, the Réseau Romand Science et Cité Board of Directors, together with selected attendees of the Neuchâtel conference, compiled a manifest for the attention of politicians, administrators and decision-makers in museums and the media. In March 2010, the complete conference results, a 300-page, bound publication, were published by the Alphill Verlag (publishing company) in a circulation of 700 copies.    You can order or download a summary in booklet format here:
