Yasemin Tutav was born in 1978 and studied English Literature, Social Anthropology and Sociology at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) and Warwick (United Kingdom). In 2011 she obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Cultural Management from the Stapferhaus Lenzburg (University of Basel, Switzerland). From 2008 until 2011 she was responsible for managing and directing different exhibition projects at fischteich, Aarau. Yasemin also worked for other institutions in the cultural sector such as the Think Tank W.I.R.E. or Prohelvetia in Zurich. Since 2013 she is project leader at the Foundation Science et Cité in Berne and focusing on science communication.
